In the fourth quarter of 2021, the top 5 business apps on the Android platform in Kenya exhibited varying trends in downloads, active users, and revenue. Here’s a closer look at their performance:

Zoom Workplace saw a fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 40.5K at the end of September and declining to around 10.3K by the end of December. Active users peaked at around 173.6K in late October but dropped to 134.3K by the end of the quarter. Revenue for the app was minimal, with a brief spike reaching $43 in early December.

Google Meet (original) experienced a downward trend in weekly downloads, beginning at 27.4K in late September and falling to 3.2K by the end of December. Active users showed an initial increase to about 104.3K in early November but gradually decreased to 87.9K by year-end.

Cash Advisor had a mixed performance in terms of downloads, peaking at approximately 18.7K in late November before dropping to negligible numbers by the end of December. Active users also showed a rise to around 15.3K in late November, followed by a decline to 3.9K by the end of the year.
